Sunspun Shelties is located in warm and sunny Florida. I started in obedience in 1988. In 1994 I discovered the breed (conformation) ring, and was given the opportunity to co-own a beautiful puppy named Taffy, (BISS Ch. WarmWinds Sunspun Delight.)
I am a reputable breeder ( AKC description of a reputable breeder) that is active in conformation or breed, agility, and I am getting back into obedience. My Shelties are sable and white.
My dogs are:
1. Certified by a Veterinarian Opthomologist (CERF-eyes).
2. After one year their hips are x-rayed for Hip Dysplasia (Prelim.)
3. When they are two years old or older they are officially OFA'd to clear them of Hip Dysplasia.
4. They are cleared of thyroid problems and Vwd-Von Willebrands disease (a bleeding disorder).
I am a current member of the:
1, Shetland Sheepdog Club of Southeast Florida (SSCSEF)
2. Dog Obedience Club of Hollywood. (DOCOH)
3. As of May 2000 I became a proud member of the American Shetland Sheepdog Association (ASSA).
- I am active in the conformation ring and introducing my dogs to agility and obedience.
- If you have any questions about puppy training, grooming, or health issues, please feel free to ask me.
- I will teach you how to train your dogs ears to tip correctly. The dogs ears are moleskinned and glued down till after all their adult teeth are in.
- I do show groom pet Shelties when asked.

Autumn is home and has been bred to Kyle. If you are interested in litter please go to the AVAILABLE tab and fill out the buyer application. Sire of puppies will be Ch. Shield Crest Colorado. It appears that Autumn is pregnant. I won't be sure for a couple of weeks when her body starts to change. At this point she didn't eat all her food and she couldn't hold her food down twice.
**NEWS**
- Great News Abbey (Sunspun Renaissance Festival) is OFA Good.
- Good news today (Fri. May 28, 2010.) Remy and Turbo are OFA Prelim Good.
- Sun. March 20, 2010, Abbey, Sunspun Renaissance Festival, was Best of Opposites at the Fort Lauderdale Dog Shows for her first point. Turbo was awarded Reserve Winners Dog. Judge Beverly Capstick was judging.
- Sat. March 13, 2010 Kodybear, Sunspun Private Stock, was awarded Best of Opposites at the Northwest Louisiana Shetland Sheepdog Speciality for a 4 point major (his first major.) Judge James R. White gave Kody his first point in Florida and liked him enough two years later to award him his first major.
- On Sat. Feb. 27, 2010, Turbo, Sunspun Program Analyst was awarded Winners Dog, Best of Breed, and a Herding Group 3 at the Boca Raton Dog Shows. Judge Carol Duffy was judging. This was his first point.
- FRI. JAN. 1st, 2010- Teddybear and I earned his Open Standard Title in Agility with a FIRST PLACE and a score or 100/100 points. He is now Ch. U-Ch. Warmwinds Burbon d'Bear OA OAJ CGC
- SUN., DEC. 6TH-- Greater Miami Dog Shows--Remy once again took RWB (Reserve Winners Bitch) ahead of all but one of the "older" girls from puppy 9-12, this time in judge Steven D. Galdstone's ring. This was her fourth time in the ring. I am very proud of this little inexperienced girl.
- SAT., DEC. 5TH-- Greater Miami Dog Shows---"Remy", Sunspun Rhythm Of My Heart earned RWB from puppy 9-12 class in Judge Leah James ring. She also earned Best Puppy and went to take 3rd place in puppy groups.
- ON FRIDAY JULY 10, 2009 CYNTHIA SULLIVAN AND KOTA (SUNSPUN DAKOTA BREEZE) EARNED THEIR 20TH DOUBLE Q AND THE MACH (Master Agility Champion). HE IS NOW MACH SUNSPUN DAKOTA BREEZE MX MXJ.
